I'm in the mood of posting something today, sorry for leaving you in such a long time, bloggie. :p

1. Ada yang nanya di formspring gue (no name) tentang maksud lagu The Cardigans - Communication yang pernah gue post di blog ini. Well, here is your answer (kalo mau translate utuhnya mungkin bisa minta tolong om 'Google Translator', hehe) :

Intinya adalah seseorang yang mencintai seseorang dan berusaha untuk 'menyambungkan' perasaannya ke orang itu. Dia mengibaratakan usaha untuk menyampaikan perasaanya sebagai 'komunikasi' karena sebagaimanapun usahanya untuk connect atau 'nyambung' sama orang itu, selalu aja gagal, karena pada dasarnya si orang itu nggak merasakan hal yang sama dan selalu 'disconnect' dari komunikasi mereka. Yes, he gives her no chance to connect. One of a way to say unrequited love, cinta tak terbalas, bertepuk sebelah tangan. Well, you name it.


2. I'm in love with Animation Movies!!!!

Yap, akhir-akhir ini lagi banyak film animasi yang bagus kayak Toys Story 3 dan Despicable Me! I watched those and I'm in love. Pokoknya semua temen gue yang nonton film animasi sama gue selalu merespon sama yaitu, gue lebay kalo nonton film animasi. Hahahaha... Well, we all kids inside, right? Oh yes, I'm a Gleek. (sebutan buat die hard fans Glee)
What's Glee anyway? Hemm, gue sangsi kalo ada yang belom tau Glee, tapi gue akan berusaha ngasih brief explanation disini.

Glee is such a musical tv serial. Just like Gossip Girls, Grey's Anatomy, (I just realized that my three fav. tv series come up with G as their first alphabet, wow!) those kind of tv series but with musics on it.

The series follows an optimistic teacher, WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison), who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. It's a tall order when the brightest stars of the group include KURT (Chris Colfer), a soprano who hits a high note in fashion; MERCEDES (Amber Riley), a larger-than-life diva with a voice to match; ARTIE (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist who rocks and rolls; and TINA (Jenna Ushkowitz), a punk rocker who hides behind her stutter and blue hair extensions.

Will's only hope lies with two true talents: RACHEL BERRY (Lea Michele), a self-proclaimed star who is convinced that MySpace and show choir and are her tickets to fame; and FINN HUDSON (Cory Monteith), the popular high school quarterback with movie star looks who must protect his reputation from his holier-than-thou girlfriend and "Cheerios" head cheerleader, QUINN (Dianna Agron), and his arrogant football teammate, PUCK (Mark Salling).

Will is determined to do whatever it takes to make Glee great again, but his only ally is fellow teacher and germaphobe EMMA PILLSBURY (Jayma Mays). Everyone else around him thinks he's nuts - from his tough-as-nails wife TERRI SCHUESTER (Jessalyn Gilsig) to McKinley's scheming cheerleading coach SUE SYLVESTER (Jane Lynch) - but he's out to prove them wrong.

Why I love this one? Since Music is my first love, musical things are my favorite. The story is original and has no follower yet and the songs are amazing. :D So far, I love It's my life/confession, Keep Holding On and Don't Stop Believing (of course!) performed by Glee Casts.
The cute Kurt and ambitious Rachel is my favorite cast. :) But............. since I watched Glee in Indovision (In Indovision we watch Glee in Star World, not in Fox like it should be) and it's lil' bit late. :(

movies recommendation

i loveeeeeeeeeeee watching movie. good movie for me is the one which can make me feel the emotion of the movie itself and also can teach us something. good actor or actress doesn't need to be beautiful or handsome but they need to know how to act. act is making people believe the feeling is real. that's why, for me, those who has the beauty and also can act wonderful is ahh-mazing, and i mean, Hollywood stars. actually, i wanna share the latest movie i saw in star movies this noon. (god bless!):

the boy in the striped pajamas

maybe some of you doesn't like this kind of genre. yeah, too heavy and lil bit sad. for some reason i hate sad movies because it feels suck crying for something 'unreal' but i feel the urge to saw this movie since i first saw the novel.

the movie tells about Bruno's life. he's a son of Nazi's soldier. they have to move in to the new house which is only miles away from the camp. i believe you know about the camp in Nazi's story. it's to imprison Jewish. 8 years old Bruno has no friend, that's why he is exploring and found the camp. then he met Shmuel, the little Jewish. they become friend, secretly. little by little Bruno found out that the camp isn't as fun as people told and his father isn't a good soldier as he thought he was. i won't break the surprise about the ending here, but if you really want to know i'll give you a hint. the ending was tragic and unpredictable. that's why you need to see the movie. the one that really touch my heart is the expression of Pavel, the Jewish man that used to be a doctor but now he has to cut potatoes. uhhhh, i can't described it but it felt so real. and i called him good actor whether he's not the star of the movie. i like him.

the truth is, i don't know. really. who's right or wrong. i feel bad about the Jewish for the Holocaust but i can't justify their act to treat Muslim like what they did by now. because it's horrible when you take a look what happen in Palestine. seriously, i can't tell you even -just- my opinion because i think to talk we need to have a significant proof to support our opinion. we can't just talk nonsense. so that, all i can do is hoping and praying that those people can wake up one day and realize that war will create nothing but emptiness and tragedy. and giving mercy isn't show that we're weak but show that we have more power. because not everybody can forgive and forget. i pray for Palestine. i pray for Afghanistan. i pray for every little injustice in this world, hopefully things can be right. sooner or later. aminnnnnnnnnnn........................ :)

movies I saw this week

Oke. Gue akui, gue lagi kecanduan nonton film. Entah dari DVD, cinema, sharing file ataupun Indovision. *God bless movie founder. Hahaha..
Dan minggu ini aja gue udah nonton, emmhh, let me count, 6, 7, or more??
And i really want to share with you since I think all the movies I saw lately is SUPER COOL!
*Sorry tapi ngga semua film yang gue tonton gue tulis di sini, gue cuma tulis yang menurut gue menarik.
So, Let's begin!

1. Nodame Cantabile

Bagi Japanese freak pasti kenal dorama. Yep, itu kayak sinetronnya orang Jepang. Kalo sinetron Indonesia bikin penontonnya nangis termehek-mehek atau geregetan pengen nabok si pemeran antagonis -Sorry if it sounds rude. ;p-, dorama bikin penontonnya ketawa ngakak -mostly- just like Nodame Cantabile. Nodame Cantabile bercerita tantang musik. Pemeran utamanya Noda Megumi, usually called Nodame, dan Chiaki Shinichi. Nodame yang aneh dan jorok tapi jenius dalam bermusik ketemu sama Chiaki Shinichi yang juga jenius dalam bermusik. Bedanya, kalau Nodame plays piano sloppily , even genious, Chiaki plays piano perfectly. Chiaki pengen banget jadi conductor tapi ada aja halangannya. And Nodame helps him to find the way, well, in her own way of course. Buat yang suka musical film dan pengen ngakak karena ke-lebayan film. I suggest Nodame in the first place.

2. The Setpford's wives

Howaaaa, another cool movie. Ceritanya tentang cewek-cewek hebat yang bikin suaminya ngerasa terancam. Jadilah mereka dipaksa untuk pindah ke Stepford. Hal ini yang dialami sama Joanna Eberhart. Di Stepford Joanna menemukan kenaehan. All girls do the same, wear the same, and everything looks so perfect. Hal itulah yang justru membuat Nicole Kidman, as Joanna, bingung dan mencari tau ada apakah dengan Stepford sebenarnya? Yang jelas film ini bakal bikin lo ketawa dan terkejut. Seru buat ditonton sama temen-temen cewek waktu movie marathon. As I did. Right, girls??


3. Fight Club

Beda sama Nodame dan Stepford's wives, Fight Club lebih cocok buat cowok. Gue pun nonton film ini karena disaranin sama temen cowok gue. Karena dia cerita ngeyakinin banget, gue pun nonton film ini. And the result is? Cool movie, walau gue yakin cewek-cewek bakal agak ketakutan karena too much bloods in this movie. And the fight? Ohh, gue selalu bergumam, "Boys, what the hell are you think you're doing? Can't you just sit down and watch? Stop fighting!" hahaha... Ceritanya tentang seorang employee yang terserang insomnia, he's unnamed. Akhirnya dia menemukan cara ampuh buat menyembuhkan insomnia yaitu dengan mengikuti support group. Dia mulai ikut support group walau dia sama sekali ga sakit seperti orang lain di support group itu. Yang penting dia bisa nangis dan tidur lelap setelahnya. Sampai ia bertemu Marla Singer and Tayler Durden. Marla and Tayler absolutely change him, especially Tayler. Mereka mebuat Fight Club dan melakukan hal-hal yang nggak pernah terpikirkan sebelumnya. But at the end, he'll find out that... well, i can't tell you. You should watch it by yourself! But overall, this movie is worth too watch cos it's unpredictable story. Dan buat cewek-cewek, disini ada Brad Pitt! Yeah, that Brad, Jolie's husband. ;p

4. Nancy Drew

I'm so excited to tell you this movie. Why? Because i jut watched it, some minutes ago. Or hour? In HBO, God bless HBO. hahaha... Ceritanya bagus, walau ini film remaja, it's just different. Ga kayak film remaja lainnya yang bercerita tentang 'mean girl' Nancy Drew bercerita tentang seorang cewek yang tergila-gila menjadi detektif. Nancy, Emma Roberts, is smart and beutiful in different way. I adore her clothes. You should watch the movie and you'll agree with me. Ceritanya Nancy pindah sementara karena ayahnya mempunyai pekerjaan yang harus diurus. Nancy yang suka misteri pun memilih rumah yang penuh misteri. Tempat tinggal seorang artis lama yang meinggal secara misterius. Dia pun mulai menguak fakta-fakta walau harus dikejar-kejar oleh orang yang nggak mau Nancy menemui kebenaran dari kasus tersebut. Ceritanya sih nggak terlalu unpredictable tapi bagus dan ga standar buat sebuah teenage movie. I know, I sound like teenager, but, whatever! hahaha...

5. Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind

Sebenernya gue nonton film ini minggu lalu, kalo ga salah, tapi karena menurut gue film ini bagus banget gue akan tulis disini. *I'll do whatever I like in my blog. Aha!
Pemeran utam film ini adalah Jim Carrey tapi jangan berharap menemukan komedi di sini. Walau ada jokes, overall, film ini bukan komedi. Ceritanya tentang hubungan antara Joel, Jim Carrey, dan Clamentine, Kate Winslet. Awalnya mereka pacaran sampai akhirnya putus. Clamentine yang desperate berusaha menghapus memori tentang Joel dengan datang ke Dr. Mierzwiak. Ia memiliki praktek penghapusan memori. Joel yang mengetahui hal itu sakit hati dan melakukan hal yang sama. Tapi disaat proses penghapusan memori berlagsung Joel sadar dia masih cinta sama Clem dan berusaha untuk menggagalkan prosesnya. Is he success? Well, watch it by yourself. Yang pasti ceritanya bagus banget. And i love the quote from Alexander Pope which Kirsten Dunst said in this movie:

"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot? The world forgetting by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Each prayer accepted and each wish resign."

Good, isn't it? Tapi gue yakin lo bakal bingung di awal-awal film. But don't worry, everything will be solved at the end.
